Temporary Detour: Bellevue Library Back to School Bash on August 6

On Thursday, August 6, from 8:00am until 7:00pm, buses will detour due to the Bellevue Library Back to School Bash.  

Street Closures: 

  • Atlantic St between S Capitol St and Martin Luther King Jr Ave, SW 
  • S Capitol Ter between Atlantic St and Brandywine St, SW 

The following route will detour:  

C17 MLK Ave-Bellevue northbound towards Anacostia 

  • Buses begin detouring on Martin Luther King Jr Ave, SW at Chesapeake St, resuming regular route on Mississippi Ave, SE at 1st St. 

C17 MLK Ave-Bellevue southbound towards Eastover 

  • Buses begin detouring on Atlantic St, SE at S Capitol St, resuming regular route on Martin Luther King Jr Ave, SW at Elmira St.
