Temporary bus relocations at Congress Heights station
Advisory Effective: Aug 2, 2026 – Jan 31, 2028
Beginning August 3, 2026, through January 2028, the following temporary bus shelter closures and relocations will be in effect at the Congress Heights bus loop to support construction of a new bus loop and DC Public Library on the site:
- Bus shelter B will temporarily close.
- Bus shelter C, serving route C29, will temporarily close and relocate to temporary stop/shelter T2.
- Bus shelter D, serving route C27, will temporarily close and relocate to temporary stop/shelter T3.
- Bus shelter E, serving route C53, will temporarily close and relocate to temporary stop/shelter T4.
- Bus shelter F, serving the Anacostia BID Shuttle, will temporarily close and relocate to temporary stop/shelter T1.
