Temporary Detour: Purple Line Construction on University Blvd

Route Affected: M12

 

On Monday, October 5, through Friday, October 16, from 10:00pm-5:00am nightly, buses will detour due to construction for the Purple Line project. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. 

 

Street Closures:

  • Intersection of University Blvd and Piney Branch Rd

 

The following route will detour: 

M12 University Blvd eastbound towards Hyattsville Crossing

  • Buses begin detouring on University Blvd at Piney Branch Rd, resuming regular route on University Blvd at Merrimac Dr.

M12 University Blvd westbound towards Twinbrook

  • No detour required.
