Bike lockers replacement

We’re upgrading bike parking across the system! New lockers, smart racks, repair stations, and U racks are being added over the next few years.  

• Vienna station will receive eleven (11) new lockers, which will be available immediately after installation for on-demand rental through a mobile app. Hourly rental for lockers start at 5¢/hour, up to $1/day.
  
  
• West Hyattsville station will receive seven (7) new lockers and ten (10) new smart racks, which will be available immediately after installation for on-demand rental through a mobile app. Hourly rental for lockers start at 5¢/hour, up to $1/day.
  
  
• NoMa station will receive twelve (12) new lockers, which will be available immediately after installation for on-demand rental through a mobile app. Hourly rental for lockers start at 5¢/hour, up to $1/day.
  
  
• Huntington station will receive twelve(12) new lockers, which will be available immediately after installation for on-demand rental through a mobile app. Hourly rental for lockers start at 5¢/hour, up to $1/day.
  
  
• The bike lockers at Anacostia station will be removed and be replaced by u-racks.

Customer Information

• Bike lockers will be unavailable during installation but will be ready to use immediately once installation is complete

• Please look for posted signs and remove all personal property from existing lockers by August 7, 2026

• Lockers will be available immediately after installation is complete. Instructions for using the app will be available on the locker decal. More information can be found at wmata.com/service/bikes
