- Special Response Team

The program is free of charge to all participants.

Details:
- The program runs from July 1, 2026 to September 2, 2026 (every Wednesday evening).
- Deadline to apply is June 17, 2026.
- The CPA will accept up to 20 applicants per class.
- The time commitment for participants is 10 weeks, one to two hours per session, plus a required ride-along with an officer.
- The CPA takes place at the Metro Transit Police Department's Crimina; Justice Academy (3421 Pennsy Drive, Landover, MD 20785).
