2026年冬季重大建設

2026年12月18日至30日， Metro 將透過兩個獨立專案，對 Green、 Orange、 Silver及 Blue 線進行重大建設，以支援關鍵基礎設施升級。
這項工作是 Metro持續投資提升可靠性、安全性及整體客戶體驗的一部分。
2026年12月18日 - 12月30日
Metro Rail線將在Green線的Georgia Av-Petworth站與U St站之間為單軌。
- Green 系列：
- 平日及週末每16分鐘一班
- Yellow線：
- 服務： Huntington 僅限Mt Vernon Sq
- 平日及週末班次每8分鐘一班
- 聖誕節當天除外，班次每16分鐘一班
2026年12月20日 - 12月30日
Metro Rail線將在Orange線與Silver線的McPherson Sq站與Smithsonian站間單軌運行。
- Blue線：
- 服務： 僅 Franconia-Springfield 至 Foggy Bottom-GWU ，列車每20分鐘一班
- Orange 與 Silver 線：
- 平日及週末每20分鐘一班
受影響的車站在施工期間仍將開放供鐵路服務使用。由於此工程需單軌行駛，乘客在規劃行程時應預留更多列車間隔。
受影響路線的正常鐵路服務將於2026年12月31日恢復。

- 修復或更換現有軌道及固定系統
- 通訊與訊號系統 的更新
- 照明基礎設施 修復
- 修補填縫墊
- 混凝土修復
