Weekend track work: Buses replace trains between Fort Totten and NoMa on Red Line

On Saturday and Sunday, the Red Line will operate in two segments between Glenmont to Fort Totten and between NoMa-Gallaudet U and Shady Grove due to track maintenance.

Local and express shuttle buses replace trains between Fort Totten and NoMa-Gallaudet.

Crews will be replacing snow melt cables, installing fiber cables, and replacing negative return cables.

UPDATE:

The Pentagon has cancelled its Saturday Emergency Response Exercise so Yellow and Blue line trains will serve Pentagon Station all weekend.

Service Information

Red Line: Trains will run every 6 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes after 9:30 p.m. between Glenmont and Fort Totten.

Trains will run every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes after 9:30 between NoMa-Gallaudet U and Shady Grove.

Yellow Line: Normal service

Blue Line: Normal service

Green Line: Normal service

Orange Line: Normal service

Silver Line: Normal service
