Kaazmeya is a D.C. native now living in Silver Spring. Her relationship with Metro began as a necessity after her car was totaled, but Metro quickly became something she genuinely loves. It gave her freedom, ease and a new way to experience her city.

For Kaazmeya, Metro is more than transportation: It’s connection. It’s the ability to explore new neighborhoods, discover culture and meet people she’d never otherwise cross paths with, whether it’s a bus driver or a fellow rider who starts a spontaneous conversation. She sees the magic in these everyday moments.

Kaazmeya taps because she wants Metro to keep existing—it’s vital to her, and she couldn’t imagine living somewhere without public transportation.
