Registering a Smart Trip card makes it easier to manage and protects your value.

• Auto Reload for Stored Value or passes
• Balance Protection for lost or stolen cards (a $2 replacement fee may apply)
• Mobile Fare Payment using your mobile device

How to register

Depending on how you bought your card, it might already be registered. 

• Smart Trip cards purchased online or through the Smart Trip app are automatically registered.
• Smart Trip cards transferred to Apple Wallet or Google Pay using the app remain registered.

 if you purchased your Smart Trip card from:

• a Fare Vending Machine
• Commuter stores or a retail outlet
• Directly from Apple Wallet

Can I have multiple cards on one account?

Yes. There is no limit to the number of Smart Trip cards associated with your Smart Trip account.
