Thru Sept 6th, shuttle buses replace trains between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights due to summer construction. As a result, Grosvenor, Medical Center, and Bethesda stations are closed. Express shuttle bus service is available between North Bethesda and Friendship Heights.

Beginning April 21, 2026, Metro will replace the two elevators on the east side of Hungerford Drive (Rt. 355) near the Park Av entrance of the station. During this project, one elevator will be out of service at a time.
