Three escalators at Entrance C (9th St, L’Enfant Plaza) are being replaced. Expected completion is August 2026. During construction, one escalator will be closed at a time. All entrances and the elevator are open.
The elevators on both sides of the pedestrian bridge that goes across East-West Hwy near Hyattsville Crossing Station, have been closed indefinitely. The pedestrian bridge and stairs will remain open.
On April 21, 2026, the middle lane of the Kiss and Ride area in the Anacostia Metro Station parking garage will be closed for inspections conducted by the DC Water and Sewer Authority.
