View potential impacts related to ongoing projects at New Carrollton Metro Rail Station. Metro and its developer are transforming the station into a first-class, multi-modal and mixed-use development.
Three escalators at Entrance C (9th St, L’Enfant Plaza) are being replaced. Expected completion is August 2026. During construction, one escalator will be closed at a time. All entrances and the elevator are open.
For approximately 15 months, Arlington County/Metro will be reconstructing the bus loop at the East Falls Church station. Construction activities will be divided into three phases to ensure the bus loop remains operational throughout construction.
