For approximately 15 months, Arlington County/Metro will be reconstructing the bus loop at the East Falls Church Metro Station. Construction activities will be divided into three phases to ensure the bus loop remains operational throughout construction.

Three escalators at Entrance C (9th St, L’Enfant Plaza) are being replaced. Expected completion is August 2026. During construction, one escalator will be closed at a time. All entrances and the elevator are open.

In January 2024, Metro began a major capital project replacing the four entrance escalators and four platform escalators at Rosslyn Station.
