Three escalators at Entrance C (9th St, L’Enfant Plaza) are being replaced. Expected completion is August 2026. During construction, one escalator will be closed at a time. All entrances and the elevator are open.
On June 5, 2023, Metro began a major capital project to install two canopies above the station escalators at Arlington Cemetery. One canopy will be installed at the station’s north entrance on the north side of Memorial Drive, and one canopy will be installed at the station’s south entrance on the south side of Memorial Drive.
