Buses will operate via 4th St and 6th St between Massachusetts Ave, NW and Pennsylvania Ave, SE, Massachusetts Ave, NE, and E St, NW between Metro Center and Eastern Market.
Due to street closures and major special events associated with America 250 activities near the National Mall, including the Great American State Fair and Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the D10 and D1X will operate on a temporary summer detour. The detour routing is reflected in schedules beginning June 21, 2026. All stops along the detour route will be served, with temporary signage posted at affected locations.
