DC Historic Bus Terminals Rehabilitation
The DC Historic Bus Terminals Project will fully rehabilitate the terminals at Chevy Chase, Colorado Ave, and Calvert Street while maintaining the historic integrity of the buildings. Built in the late 1930s and early 1940s, the buildings are in great need of repair and rehabilitation due to their deteriorating condition. The renovated terminals will provide improved restroom facilities for Metro bus operators and employees, wider bus stops and improved canopies for the public, and overall safer facilities that comply with ADA guidelines.
