Temporary Detour: 2022 Annual Bethesda Turkey Chase Charity Run, November 24

On Thursday, November 24, Metrobuses will detour due to the 2022 Annual Turkey Chase Charity Run in Bethesda, MD from the start of service until 11am. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.

Street Closures:
•Old Georgetown Rd. (MD.187) from Spruce Ave. to Cedar Lane
•Old Georgetown Rd. (MD.187) from Commerce Lane. to Spruce Tree Avenue
•Wisconsin Avenue (MD. 355) from Pooks Hill Rd. to Commerce Lane
The following routes will detour:
J2 Bethesda-Silver Spring eastbound to Silver Spring Station
- Buses begin detouring on Old Georgetown Rd at Battery Ln, resuming regular route on Old Georgetown Rd at Commerce Ln.
J2 Bethesda-Silver Spring westbound to Montgomery Mall
- Buses begin detouring leaving Bethesda Station, resuming regular route on Old Georgetown Rd at Battery Ln.
