Buses will detour due to the District Department of Transportation Oregon Avenue Reconstruction Project. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
Street Closure:
- Oregon Ave NW between Chestnut St and Tennyson St
The following route will detour:
E6 Chevy Chase Line eastbound toward Knollwood (two segments)
- Buses begin detouring on 32nd St NW at Western Ave, resuming regular route on Chestnut St NW at 32nd St.
- Buses begin detouring on Pinehurst Cir NW at Western Ave, traveling to Utah Ave NW and Nebraska Ave NW, resuming regular route on Lindsay Dr NW at Oregon Ave.
E6 Chevy Chase Line westbound toward Friendship Heights (one segment)
- Buses begin detouring on Oregon Ave NW at Lindsay Dr, resuming regular route on Western Ave NW at Pinehurst Cir.
