Routes Affected:  80, G8, P6, X2

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, routes 80, G8, P6, and X2 will detour from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm due to construction. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time. 

Street Closures

• 950 H St NW

80 North Capitol Street northbound towards Fort Totten

X2 Benning Road-H Street eastbound towards Minnesota Ave

• Buses begin detouring on 11th St NW at H St, resuming regular route on H St NW at 7th St.

80 North Capitol Street southbound towards Kennedy Center

X2 Benning Road-H Street westbound towards McPherson Square

• Buses begin detouring on 6th St NW at H St, resuming regular route on H St NW at 11th St.

G8 Rhode Island Ave eastbound towards Avondale 

• No detour. 

G8 Rhode Island Ave westbound towards Farragut Sq

• Buses begin detouring on New York Ave NW at 9th St, resuming regular route on H St NW at 11th St. 

P6 Anacostia-Eckington northbound towards Rhode Island Ave

• Buses begin detouring on 11th St NW at H St, resuming regular route on H St NW at 7th St.

P6 Anacostia-Eckington southbound towards Anacostia

• Buses begin detouring on 9th St NW at H St, resuming regular route on 11th St NW at E St.
