On Saturday, September 23 buses will detour due to the 2023 Celebrate Petworth. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.

Route Affected: 60

Street Closure:

• Upshur Street NW between 8th Street NW and Georgia Avenue

• 9th Street NW between Upshur Street NW and Kansas Avenue

The following route will detour:

60 Fort Totten-Petworth northbound to Fort Totten

• Buses will begin detouring on Georgia Ave NW at New Hampshire Ave, resuming regular route on New Hampshire Ave NW at Upshur St.

60 Fort Totten-Petworth southbound to Georgia Avenue-Petworth Station

• Buses will begin detouring on Upshur St NW at 7th St, resuming regular route on Varnum St NW at Georgia Ave.
