Routes Affected: 86, F8
Routes 86 and F8 will detour due to the 2021 Hyattsville Zombie Run in the City of Hyattsville. Roadways near Magruder Park will be closed to motorist. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
The following routes will detour:
86 Langley Park-Cheverly northbound toward Calverton
- Buses begin detouring on Mt. Rainier Circle at Rhode Island Ave, resuming regular route on Queens Chapel Rd at Belcrest Rd.
86 Langley Park-Cheverly southbound toward Rhode Island Ave
- Buses begin detouring on Queens Chapel Rd at Belcrest Rd, resuming regular route on Rhode Island Ave at 34th St.
F8 Langley Park-Cheverly northbound toward Takoma Langley Crossoads
- Buses begin detouring on Rhode Island Ave at Charles Armentrout Dr, resuming regular route on Hamilton St at Queens Chapel Rd.
F8 Langley Park-Cheverly southbound toward Cheverly
- Buses begin detouring on Queens Chapel Rd at Hamilton St, resuming regular route on Charles Armentrout Dr at Rhode Island Ave.
