Temporary Detour and Bus Stop Closure: Construction at DC General Hospital, UPDATED

Effective: February 3, 2019 until further notice
Routes Affected: 96, B2
Due to an ongoing construction project, routes 96 and B2 will not serve the DC General Campus. To improve service during this time, detoured routes have been revised, effective Sunday, February 3, 2018. Customers should plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
96 East Capitol Street-Cardozo eastbound toward Capitol Heights Station
Buses will bypass the DC General Campus and continue along northbound 19th St SE at Massachusetts Ave.
96 East Capitol Street-Cardozo westbound toward Tenleytown Station
Buses will not service the following location:
- Massachusetts Ave SE between 18th St. and 19th St.
The following bus stops will be closed:
- Massachusetts Ave SE at 19th St (stop ID #1000660)
- Massachusetts Ave SE at 18th St (stop ID #1000671)
B2 Bladensburg Road - Anacostia southbound toward Anacostia Station
Buses will not serve the following location:
- Massachusetts Ave SE between 18th St. and 19th St
The following bus stops will be closed:
- Massachusetts Ave SE at 19th St (stop ID #1000660)
- Massachusetts Ave SE at 18th St (stop ID #1000671)
B2 Bladensburg Road – Anacostia northbound toward Mt Rainier
Buses will bypass the DC General Campus and continue along 19th St SE.
Alternatively, customers may board/exit from the following bus stops:
- 96 westbound & B2 southbound: 18th St SE & C St, stop #1000676
- 96 eastbound & B2 northbound: 19th St SE & C St, stop #1000682
