Temporary Detour: 2021 Police Week, Oct 14

Buses will detour during the 2021 Police Week event from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2021. Between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, 14th St between Constitution Ave, NW and D St, SW will be closed intermittently for public safety. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
Street Closures:
The following street closures will be in effect between 6:00am and 10:30pm
- Madison Dr between 4th St and 14th St, NW
- Jefferson Dr between 4th St and 14th St, SW
- 12th St between Constitution Ave and Madison Dr, NW
- 12th St between Jefferson Dr and Independence Ave, SW
- 7th St, NW between Constitution Ave, NW and Independence Ave, SW
Detours
32, 36 Pennsylvania Ave eastbound towards Southern Ave Station/Naylor Rd Station
- Buses begin detouring on Pennsylvania Ave, NW at 7th St, resuming regular route on Independence Ave, NW at 4th St.
32, 36 Pennsylvania Ave westbound towards Potomac Park
- No Detour
74 Convention Ctr-SW Waterfront northbound towards Convention Center
- Buses begin detouring on Independence Ave SW at 7th St, resuming regular route on 7th St, NW at Pennsylvania Ave.
74 Convention Ctr-SW Waterfront southbound towards Buzzard Point
- Buses begin detouring on E St, NW at 7th St, resuming regular route on 7th St SW at Independence Ave.
70 Georgia Avenue-7th St northbound towards Silver Spring Station
79 Georgia Avenue Metroextra northbound towards Silver Spring Station
- Buses begin service at a stop on 9th St NW at Pennsylvania Ave, resuming regular route on 7th St NW at E St.
