Bus Bay Relocation: Prince Georges Plaza North Bus Loop Closure, May 9

Due to drain repair work at Prince George’s Plaza, bus bays E, F, G, and H will close for two months. Additionally, the North Kiss & Ride will be closed. Metrobus routes C4, F4, F6, F8, R4, and the 86 will be assigned to the following bus bays:
Bus Bay A:
• C4 Greenbelt-Twinbrook westbound towards Twinbrook only
Bus Bay B:
• Prince George's County Route 14 towards Riverdale Park only
Bus Bay C:
• F6 New Carrollton-Fort Totten eastbound towards New Carrollton
• F8 Langley Park-Cheverly northbound towards Takoma Langley
• F8 Langley Park-Cheverly southbound towards Cheverly
• R4 Queens Chapel Rd northbound towards Highview
• R4 Queens Chapel Rd southbound towards Brookland
• 86 College Park northbound towards Calverton
• 86 College Park southbound towards Rhode Island Ave
Bus Bay D:
• F4 New Carrollton-Silver Spring Ln eastbound towards Silver Spring
• F4 New Carrollton-Silver Spring Ln westbound towards New Carrollton
• F6 New Carrollton-Fort Totten westbound towards Fort Totten
• Prince George’s County Route 13 towards West Hyattsville
• Prince George’s County Route 19 towards West Hyattsville
The following routes will detour:
F4 New Carrollton-Silver Spring Ln towards New Carrollton
• Buses begin detouring on East West Highway at Prince George’s Plaza Station entrance, resuming regular route on Belcrest Rd at East West Highway.
C4 Prince George’s Plaza westbound towards Prince George’s Plaza
• Buses begin detouring at Prince George’s Plaza Station Roadway, ending route at bus bay A.
C4 Greenbelt-Twinbrook westbound towards Twinbrook
• Buses begin detouring from Prince George’s Plaza (Bus Bay A), continuing regular route along East West Highway.
86 College Park towards Rhode Island Ave Station/F8 Langley Park-Cheverly southbound towards Cheverly/R4 Queens Chapel Rd northbound towards Highview
• Buses begin detouring from Prince George’s Plaza (Bus Bay C), resuming regular route on Belcrest Rd at East West Highway.
F6 New Carrollton-Fort Totten towards Fort Totten
• Buses begin detouring from Prince George’s Plaza (Bus Bay D), resuming regular route on Belcrest Rd at East West Highway.
Due to the temporary nature of this detour, bus routing and bus stop information will not be updated in the Trip Planner, Customer Information Systems, Bus ETA, Google or other private Apps based on WMATA systems.
