Detours for Monroe Street Bridge Construction to End November 9

Advisory Effective: 11/9/18 - 11/30/18

Routes Affected: 80, G8, H1, H2, H3, H4

On November 9, 2018, routes 80, G8, H1, H2, H3 and H4 will resume regular route following a long-term detour implemented for construction on the Monroe Street Bridge. 

These changes will not be reflected in the Trip Planner, BusETA and Google until the scheduled systems update in December 2018.

The regular route for the 80 toward Kennedy Center/McPherson Square, G8 toward Farragut Square, H1 toward Potomac Park, and H2, H3, H4 toward Tenleytown is as follows:

From the assigned bus bay at Brookland-CUA Metrorail Station:

• Continue to Monroe St Exit
• Right on Monroe St NE
• Resume regular route

The bus stop that was established for the detour (stop ID #1003902) at Michigan Ave eastbound on 7th St will be discontinued. The stop that was closed during the detour (stop ID # 1002116) will reopen.
