Metrobus Bus Stop Changes Beginning June 25

Routes Affected: 42, 43, 80, 90, 92, 96, A9, D1, D4, D6, D51, G8, P6, S2, S4, S9, X2 and X3

Along with the Metrobus service changes on June 25 affecting select routes in District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, some bus stops will be discontinued, changed and renamed.   

Stops Discontinued

Until further notice, route 43 will no longer serve the northbound stops at I St & 14th St NW (Stop #1003653) and I St & 15th St NW (Stop #1001185). Buses will begin service on I St & 17th St NW (Stop #1001183). 

Routes 90, 92, 96, D51 and X3 will no longer serve the northbound/westbound bus stop on Florida Ave & 6th St NW (Stop #1001625).

• Alternatively, customers may board/exit buses from the stop on Florida Ave & Georgia Ave NW (Stop #1001653).

Route P6 will no longer serve the southbound bus stop on 5th St & H St NW (Stop #1001130).

• Alternatively, customers may board/exit buses from the stop on H St & 6th St NW (Stop #1001117).

Routes 53 and S4 will no longer serve the northbound/southbound stop #2 on I St & 13th St NW (Stop #1003662).

• Alternatively, customers may board/exit buses from the following stops:
  • Route 53: Franklin Sq & Bus Bay C (I St & 14th St NW, Stop #1003653) 
  • Route S4: Franklin Sq & Bus Bay D (I St & 14th St NW, Stop #1001191) 

Stops Renamed

Routes D1, D4 and 16E the stop on I St & 13th St NW (Stop #1001187) will be renamed Franklin Sq & Bus Bay A.

Route S9 the stop on I St & 13th St NW (Stop #1003661) will be renamed Franklin Sq & Bus Bay B.

Routes 42, 80, A9, G8, S2, S4 and X2 the stop on I St & 14th St NW (Stop #1001191) will be renamed Franklin Sq & Bus Bay D.
