Greenbelt Metrorail Station Site Lighting Replacement Project

Advisory Effective: 2/16/20 - 5/31/20

As part of its State of Good Repair and Sustainability initiatives, beginning Sunday, February 16, 2020, Metro will be  replacing over 400 lights with new, energy-efficient LED lighting at the Greenbelt station.

• New lighting will be installed in the parking lot, Kiss & Ride and bus bay areas.
• Work will begin Sunday, February 16, and will be performed during overnight hours, Sunday-Thursday, for approximately three months.
• Work zones will require temporary parking space closures and some vehicular detours. Look for posted signs and stay clear of work areas.
