Buses will detour due to the Wheaton Arts Parade. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.

Routes Affected: Q1, Q4, Q5, Y2, Y7, Y8,

Street Closures:

• Reedie Drive between Georgia Ave and Veirs Mill Rd
• Southbound Georgia Ave between University Blvd and Reedie Dr

The following routes will detour:

Y2 Georgia Ave northbound towards Montgomery Medical Center

Y7, Y8 Georgia Ave – Maryland northbound towards ICC Park & Ride via Leisure World and Montgomery Medical Center

• No detour.

Y2 Georgia Ave-Maryland southbound towards Silver Spring Transit Center

Y7, Y8 Georgia Ave-Maryland southbound towards Silver Spring Transit Center

• Buses begin detouring on Univ Blvd at Georgia Ave, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station.

Q1, Q4, Q5 Viers Mill Rd northbound towards Rockville, Shady Grove

• Buses begin detouring on University Blvd at Viers Mill Rd, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station.

Q1, Q4, Q5 Viers Mill Rd southbound towards Silver Spring Transit Center

• Buses begin detouring on Views Mill Rd at Reedie Dr, resuming regular route at Wheaton Station.
