Metrobus will detour due to the 2023 Clarendon Day Celebration. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.

Street Closures:

•  Wilson Boulevard between Washington Boulevard and N. Highland Street
• Clarendon Boulevard between Washington Boulevard and N. Garfield Street
• N. Highland Street between N. 11th Street and Wilson Boulevard 
• N. Herndon Street, between Wilson Boulevard and the alleyway behind CVS
• N. Hudson Street, between Wilson Boulevard and the alleyway behind CVS

The following route will detour:

38B Ballston-Farragut Square eastbound to Farragut Square

• Buses begin detouring on 10th St N at Wilson Blvd, resuming regular route on Clarendon Blvd at N. Barton St.

38B Ballston-Farragut Square westbound to Ballston Station

• Buses begin detouring on Wilson Blvd at N. Barton St, resuming regular route on Washington Blvd at N. Kirkwood Rd.
