Routes 52, 54, 70 and 79 will detour due to construction on Georgia Ave NW between Aspen St and Butternut St. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
The following routes will detour:
52, 54 14th Street southbound toward L’Enfant Plaza/Metro Center
Buses begin detouring on Piney Branch Rd NW at Butternut St, resuming regular route on Aspen St NW at Georgia Ave.
52, 54 14th Street northbound toward Takoma/14th St & Colorado Ave NW
- Regular route, no detour
70, 79 Georgia Avenue-7th Street southbound toward Archives-Navy Memorial
- Buses begin detouring on Butternut St NW at Georgia Ave, resuming regular route on Georgia Ave NW at Piney Branch Rd.
70, 79 Georgia Avenue-7th Street northbound toward Silver Spring
