Update: The next phase of the Blue Line Power upgrade has been postponed from March 6 to March 13.

On Saturday, March 13, as part of the next phase of the Blue Line Rail Power Upgrade Project, Metro will close the bus loop at Van Dorn St Station to allow for heavy equipment and mixers needed to pour concrete. All Metro, DASH, and Fairfax Connector service will be temporarily relocated to the Kiss & Ride Lot.
Customers may drop-off and pick up from the inner loop of the short-term parking area.
Saturday, October 10 and October 17, 2020 | All day
On Saturday, October 10 and 17 all Metro, Dash Alexandria, and Fairfax Connector bus stops at Van Dorn Street Metrorail station will temporarily relocate to the Kiss & Ride due to the Blue Line Rail Power Upgrade Project.
The customer drop-off/pick up area and motorcycle parking will relocate to the inner loop at the short-term parking area. This project will require additional weekend closures through early 2021.
