Metrorail reconstruction continues Monday through Friday this week with the following service adjustments
middays between 9:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. and
weeknights 7:30 p.m. until closing.
Red Line
Midday: Monday-Friday, trains every 8-16 minutes
Red Line trains will operate between Shady Grove & Glenmont every 16 minutes with additional trains between Van Ness-UDC & Silver Spring every 8-10 minutes.
Trains will single track between Friendship Heights and Medical Center to allow for joint elimination, grout pad rehabilitation and rail, fastener & stud renewal, grout pad
Weeknight: Monday through Thursday, trains every 20-25 minutes
Single tracking between
Friendship Heights & Medical Center to allow for rail fastener and stud renewal, joint elimination and leak mitigation.
Orange Line
Midday: Monday through Thursday, trains every 18 minutes
Orange Line trains will depart end-of-line stations every 18 minutes.
Trains will single track between McPherson Square & Foggy Bottom to allow for rail & fastener renewal and joint elimination.
Weeknight: Monday through Thursday, trains every 20-25 minutes

Silver Line
Midday: Monday through Thursday, trains every 18 minutes
Silver Line trains will operate between
Wiehle-Reston East & Ballston stations only.
Weeknight: Monday through Thursday, trains every 20 minutes
Silver Line trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston stations only to accommodate rebuilding on the Orange & Blue lines.
Customers traveling to/from other stations should use Orange and /or Blue line trains to complete their trip. At Ballston, transfer between Silver and Orange line trains on the same platform.
Blue Line
Midday: Monday through Thursday, trains every 18 minutes
Blue Line trains will depart end-of-line stations every 18 minutes.
Trains will single track between McPherson Square & Foggy Bottom to allow for rail & fastener renewal and joint elimination.
Weeknight: Monday through Thursday, trains every 20-25 minutes
Trains will single track between McPherson Square & Foggy Bottom to allow for rail & fastener renewal and joint elimination.

Green Line
