On Saturday, September 24, buses will detour due to the 2022 Congress Heights Art All Night from 12:00pm to 3:00am. Please allow additional travel time and avoid the area if possible. Consider Metrorail as an alternate travel option.
Street Closures:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue between Waclark Place & Cypress Street, SE
- 4th Street, SE between Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Trenton Street, SE
- Cypress Street between Sycamore Street & Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE
The following routes will detour:
A2 Anacostia-Washington Highlands northbound to Anacostia Station
- Buses begin detouring on Atlantic St SE at First St resuming regular route at Anacostia Station.
A2 Anacostia-Washington Highlands southbound to Southern Ave
- Buses begin detouring at Anacostia Station resuming regular route on Atlantic St SE at First St.
A6 Anacostia-Livingston northbound to Anacostia Station
- Buses begin detouring at Anacostia Station, resuming regular route on Wheeler Rd SE at Mississippi Ave.
A6 Anacostia-Livingston southbound to Livingston via Wheeler Rd
- Buses begin detouring on Wheeler Rd SE at Mississippi Ave, resuming regular route at Anacostia Station.
A4 Anacostia-Fort Drum northbound to Anacostia Station
A8 Anacostia-Livingston northbound to Anacostia Station
