Routes 80 and D8 will detour due to a crane construction project located at 600 North Capitol St NE near Massachusetts Ave. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.
The following routes will detour:
80 North Capitol Street northbound toward Fort Totten
- Regular route, no detour
80 North Capitol Street southbound toward the Kennedy Center
- Buses begin detouring on H St NW at North Capitol St, resuming regular route on H St NW at 2nd St.
D8 Hospital Center northbound toward Washington Hospital Center
- Buses begin detouring on H St NW at North Capitol St, resuming regular route on Columbus Cir NE at E St.
D8 Hospital Center southbound toward Union Station
- Regular route, no detour
