Take a tour of your newly renovated Metro station

Published: Wednesday, June 30, 2021

It's been just over one month since the Spring 2021 Platform Improvement Project stations reopened following three months of platform reconstruction work. During this time, Addison Road and Arlington Cemetery stations received newly reconstructed platforms and customer experience improvements, including:
  • New slip-resistant tiles on the platforms and in the mezzanine areas
  • Larger Passenger Information Displays (PIDS)
  • Energy-efficient LED lighting
  • Stainless steel platform shelters with charging ports (Addison Rd only)
Whether you've already returned to your station or plan to in the future, you will find safer and more accessible platforms, along with an enhanced station experience that will bring a higher level of safety, convenience and communication.

If you haven’t visited these stations yet, don’t worry! Below are virtual walkthroughs for each station, along with before and after photos that highlight the significant transformations. We look forward to welcoming you back!
