Shuttle buses will run every five minutes during rush hours and every 10 minutes midday and evenings, except the Blue Line Shuttle (every 12 minutes during midday) and Landmark-Pentagon Express (weekdays only).

Shuttles operate during all hours the rail system is open, 7 days a week, except the Landmark-Pentagon Express, which only operates on weekdays.

All shuttle buses will meet the first and last trains at their respective terminal stations.

Additional Information

  • Trains will operate at near normal-service levels across the rest of the Metrorail system
  • Customers should plan ahead and add an additional 30 minutes onto their normal commute.
  • Fare vending machines will not be accessible at closed stations. Customers are encouraged to sign up for Auto Reload, which automatically reloads money onto your SmarTrip card when the value runs low. SmarTrip cards can also be reloaded online and at Commuter Stores & retail locations.
  • Accessible buses will be available at all shuttle locations.
