6:34 a.m. A Grosvenor-bound Red Line train at Glenmont was delayed 6 minutes due to an equipment problem.

6:54 a.m. A Greenbelt-bound Green Line train at College Park-U of MD was offloaded and turned back for schedule adherence/improved train spacing. Passengers experienced a 4-minute delay.

10:57 a.m. Due to a report of a track problem at Smithsonian station, Orange and Blue line trains were single tracked between Smithsonian and Federal Center SW. Silver Line trains only operated between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston stations. At approximately 8:30 p.m. Orange and Blue line trains were single tracked between McPherson Square and Federal Center SW through closing. Passengers experienced delays up to 45 minutes.

11:01 a.m. A Shady Grove-bound Red Line train at Glenmont did not operate, resulting in a 12-minute gap in service.

11:24 a.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train at Tenleytown-AU was delayed 4 minutes due to an unattended package.

12:03 p.m. A Glenmont-bound Red Line train at NoMa-Gallaudet U was delayed 6 minutes due to police activity.

12:48 p.m. A Ft. Totten-bound Yellow Line train at Braddock Road was delayed 13 minutes due to a track problem.

2:15 p.m. Due to a report of a track problem outside Braddock Road, Yellow and Blue line trains were single tracked between Braddock Road and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport until approximately 3:00 p.m. Passengers experienced delays up to 15 minutes.
