12:47 a.m. An outbound Orange line train at Landover was delayed 5 minutes due to a report of smoke.
5:52 a.m. An inbound Blue Line train at Van Dorn was delayed 9 minutes due to striking a deer.
7:36 a.m. An inbound Orange Line train at Smithsonian was delayed 5 minutes due to a sick customer.
7:49 a.m. An outbound Green Line train at Suitland did not operate resulting in a 6-minute gap in service.
8:44 a.m. An outbound Orange Line train at Rosslyn did not operate resulting in a 6-minute gap in service.
1:24 p.m. An inbound Blue Line train at Capitol South was taken out of service due to a brake problem. Customers aboard the train experienced a 33-minute delay. Extra “gap” trains were placed into service to mitigate delays elsewhere on the line.
2:47 p.m. An inbound Orange Line train at Vienna was delayed 6 minutes due to a signal problem. An inbound Blue Line train at Franconia-Springfield was delayed 4 minutes as a result.
3:12 p.m. An inbound Orange Line train at Vienna did not operate resulting in a 6-minute gap in service.
3:26 p.m. An inbound Blue Line train at Arlington Cemetery was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.
3:46 p.m. An outbound Red Line train at New York Avenue was taken out of service due to a brake problem. Customers experienced a 6 minute delay.
3:52 p.m. An inbound Orange Line train at Vienna was delayed 6 minutes due to late equipment.
4:15 p.m. An outbound Yellow Line train at King Street was taken out of service due to a brake problem. Customers experienced a 14 minute delay.
4:16 p.m. An outbound Red Line train at Rhode Island Avenue was taken out of service due to a door problem. Customers experienced an 8 minute delay.
4:20 p.m. An inbound Yellow Line train at Huntington did not operate resulting in a 6-minute gap in service.
4:26 p.m. An inbound Orange Line train in approach to Landover returned to New Carrollton and was taken out of service due to a mechanical problem. Customers experienced a 9 minute delay.
4:35 p.m. An inbound Yellow Line train at Huntington was delayed 9 minutes due to residual delays.
4:36 p.m. An outbound Orange Line train was turned back at Stadium-Armory. Customers traveling from Stadium-Armory to New Carrollton experienced a 6-minute delay.
4:37 p.m. An outbound Orange Line train at Rosslyn was rerouted for service on the Blue Line resulting in a 6-minute delay for Orange Line customers traveling from Rosslyn to Vienna.
4:40 p.m. An inbound Blue Line train at Pentagon City was rerouted for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.
5:30 p.m. An inbound Blue Line train at Morgan Boulevard was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.
6:12 p.m. An inbound Green Line train at Anacostia was delayed 6 minutes to allow an extra train to move into position for baseball crowd control.
6:36 p.m. An inbound Orange Line train at New Carrollton did not operate causing a 6-minute gap in service.
6:48 p.m. An inbound Orange Line train at New Carrollton was delayed 5 minutes due to late equipment.
6:50 p.m. An outbound Green Line train at Prince George’s Plaza was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.
6:53 p.m. An inbound Yellow Line train at Huntington was delayed 4 minutes due to residual delays.
7:00 p.m. An outbound Green Line train at College Park was expressed for schedule adherence/improved train spacing.
9:23 p.m. An inbound Red Line train at Rhode Island Ave was delayed 7 minutes due to a switch problem.
