New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood, and Minnesota Ave stations will be closed May 28–Sept. 5. While the platforms are reconstructed, Metro will use the time to make station improvements that enhance your experience with a higher level of safety, convenience and communication.

New safety features and modern improvements include: 

• Slip-resistant tiles throughout the stations* 
• Stainless-steel platform shelters equipped with charging ports  
• Larger digital screens for passenger information
