Farragut Spheres - 2012The installation consists of 20 intricately designed aluminum discs that are wall-mounted and back-lit with custom-made LED lights in the Farragut West Metro entrance on 17th Street.

This project was made possible in part by The Golden Triangle BID partnered with the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, and was donated to WMATA.

Michael Enn Sirvet
attended the University of Maryland, graduating with a degree in Structural Engineering and an overflowing fascination with science, the arts, nature, and the patterns that bind them together. He produces sculptural artworks using metals, hardwoods, and plastics. The Farragut Spheres installation consists of 20 perforated Aluminum spheres, wall-mounted and back-lit by a custom-made LED light array.
