U·Pass AU Scavenge

What?

Metro will be hosting a scavenger hunt for American University students. Teams will be given a list of +40 clues to solve. The clues lead to destinations around D.C., accessible by the Metro system. Clues are worth different points depending on factors such as distance, difficulty, etc. The team who collects the most points wins the game and a sweet prize like tickets to events, giftcards, and more!

In order to prove that a team was at a destination, we ask that they share a post on their Instagram story (each team is going to need to designate the Instagram account they will be using) tagging @MetroUpass and using #MetroUpass.

When?

The event is Saturday, September 16th
10am - 4pm
Rain Date Saturday September 23rd

However, teams must register by Friday, September 8th

Other Important Info

You must register as a team.
A team consists of 4-8 students
There is only room for 6 teams, so get registering!

Additional Rules

Teams must designate an Instagram account they will use.
Teams must use Metrorail or Metrobus to reach all destinations.
Teams must complete the activity at each location to successfully solve the clue.
Teams must post pictures and or videos to Instagram story and tag @MetroUpass and hashtag @MetroUpass.
Teams must post to Instagram after they complete each clue.
Teams must return to the starting location by 4:00pm.
All team members must be featured in pictures and videos.
The top three teams will be eligible for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
