Mario AMAROMetro Transit Police today arrested Mario AMARO, 48, of Rockville on charges of indecent exposure.

Amaro is alleged to have exposed himself to an 8-year-old girl seated next to him aboard a Metrobus on July 9, 2014. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. aboard a Y8 bus that was en route to Silver Spring Station.

The victim was able to positively identify Amaro in a photo array.

Amaro was arrested by the Metro Transit Police Warrant Squad at his residence this morning and subsequently identified himself as the person in the mother's photograph. Clothing matching what he was wearing aboard the bus was also taken as evidence this morning.
