Two Metrobus routes discontinued

Starting June 25th, Metrobus routes 9B (Hunting Towers-Potomac Yard-Crystal City) and 10P (Mount Vernon Avenue-Potomac Yard-Crystal City) will be discontinued. Alternative bus service for those inconvenienced by this change is available as follows.

Those customers who use the 9B between Slaters Lane and downtown Alexandria should take Alexandria DASH AT4. The 9B riders traveling between Crystal City and Monroe Avenue should take the 9A or 9E on Jefferson Davis Highway. The 9B riders in downtown Alexandria can ride 9A, 10A, 10B, 29K and 29N on Washington Street.

Riders in Crystal City who use routes 9B and 10P can take the 9S, 23A or 23C. In addition, riders can take the new DASH AT10 between Potomac Yard Center and King Street station via Mount Vernon and Commonwealth avenues.

Metro passengers who use route 10P should take 9A and 9E on Jefferson Davis Highway between Crystal City and Potomac Yard Center. Routes 10A, 10B and 10E are also available to those customers wishing to travel between Braddock Road station, Del Ray and Mount Vernon Avenue.

The 10P bus service will not be replaced on South Glebe Road between Jefferson Davis Highway and Mount Vernon Avenue. For more information about Metrobus and Alexandria DASH service changes, please refer to MetroOpensDoors.com or dashbus.com.
