Metrobus service suspended until further notice due to hazardous road conditions

Metrobus is temporarily suspending service on all routes and all lines due to icy, hazardous road conditions.

Metrobus had been operating today on a regular Sunday schedule with snow detours in effect on many routes; however, as temperatures have fallen conditions have worsened impacting the ability to operate safely.

Buses already en routes will operate to the end of the routes before terminating service. Bus customers should use Metrorail as a travel option if possible.

The Metrorail system will continue to run normally on all lines until its regular 11 p.m. closing time.

Metro will continue to monitor road conditions and will resume service when it conditions improve to allow safe operations for employees and customers.
