Skip the sleigh, Metro trains and buses will run Sunday schedule for the holidays Dec. 25-26
On Christmas Day and the observed holiday, Sunday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Dec. 26, Metrorail and Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule. MetroAccess customers will be able to travel on the holiday; however, subscription trips will be canceled.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Metrorail
Hours: 7 a.m. – midnight
Service:
trains every 10 minutes,
trains every 15 minutes,
trains every 8 minutes.
Fares: Sunday, regular $2 weekend fare; Monday, off-peak fares in effect all day.
Parking: Free at all Metro owned parking garages and lots.
*Please note: Monday, Dec. 26, Yellow Line shuttle buses will not operate. Customers should use Blue Line and Blue Plus train service for travel between Virginia and DC.
Metrobus
Hours: Schedules vary by route.
Service: All buses scheduled to operate on Sundays will operate; all other routes will not operate on the holiday. Check timetables for route specific information.
Fares: All regular route Metrobus service is $2; and free when transferring to/from Metrorail.
MetroAccess
Metro access service will operate normal service on the holiday; however, all scheduled recurring “subscription trips” are automatically canceled. Customers may make a separate reservation to travel on the holiday online or by calling 301-562-5360 (TTY 301-588-7535).
Customer Service
Metro's customer information call center will be closed for the holiday, reopening on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Automatic information is available seven days a week, 24-hours a day by calling (202) 637-7000 or online at wmata.com.
