Metro will receive approximately $202 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. In anticipation of this historic legislation, Metro initiated a strategic and structured process of prioritizing economic stimulus projects. The prioritization process was based on Metro's five agency goals:
Additional input came from agency wide staff, Metro's Sustainability Group, the Jurisdictional Coordinating Committee (JCC), the Riders' Advisory Committee (RAC), and the Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC). Click here to see strategic prioritization criteria.
