All Metrorail, Metrobus and MetroAccess service will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Thursday, March 7.
Wednesday service information follows:
Metrorail: Trains continue to operate on a regular weekday schedule with no reported issues or delays at this time. Please remember to check wmata.com before starting your trip or sign up for MetroAlerts to receive updated information by email or text message.

Metrobus: Almost all Metrobus routes are operating normal service. Previously reported detours have been cleared. Check the bus alerts page for updates. Please note that bus service is subject to change if conditions deteriorate. We strongly recommend signing up for MetroAlerts for your bus route to receive information about detours, delays and other changes.

MetroAccess: Due to the storm and expected difficult road conditions, we have suspended all MetroAccess paratransit service on Wednesday, March 6. Customers who wish to reschedule their trip for a future date should call the MetroAccess reservations center at 301-562-5360. Normal service will operate on Thursday, March 7.

- Call the Metro Customer Information Center at 202-637-7000.
- Listen to radio or television traffic reports.
Winter Travel Tips
- Before you start your trip, find out how Metro is serving your area and don't let yourself get stranded once you're out.
- Dress warmly. You may be outside longer than normal.
- Do not stand in the street while waiting for a bus.
- Use extreme caution when walking on exposed surfaces, including parking lots and station platforms. Never run for a bus or train.
- Report any unsafe conditions to a Metro employee.
