Metrobus Inauguration Service Information
Monday, January 21, 2013 | Beginning at 3:00 a.m.
Due to road closures around the National Mall on Inauguration Day, Metrobus will adjust service as follows:
- Some bus routes will be shortened to begin/end at a Terminal location near the National Mall. If your route is shortened, you will need to walk or transfer to Metrorail to continue your trip beyond the Terminal location.
- Some bus routes will be detoured en route, even though they will begin/end at their normal locations. The planned detour information for these routes is posted below. Detours are subject to change due to last-minute road closures or traffic conditions.
- For the latest, up-to-the-minute service information, sign up for metroAlerts ahead of time and select up to four routes.
