Weeknight track work December 31-January 3 on Red, Blue & Orange lines
Weeknight maintenance work is scheduled during the week of December 31 through January 3 as follows:
Red Line
8 p.m. until closing | Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Single tracking between Friendship Heights & Medical Center. Delays approximately 10 minutes.
Blue Line
8 p.m. until closing | Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Single tracking between Van Dorn Street & Franconia-Springfield. Delays approximately 5 minutes.
Blue/Orange lines
10 p.m. until closing | Wednesday and Thursday only
Single tracking between Federal Center SW & Eastern Market. Delays approximately 5 minutes.
