Thanksgiving weekend service information

UPDATE: Metro will perform platform repairs at Brookland Station beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, November 23. As a result, Red Line trains will single track between Rhode Island Avenue and Fort Totten stations from 9 p.m. Friday through system closing. Customers should allow about 5 minutes of additional time.
Metro will take a short break from scheduled track work over the four-day Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Thursday, Nov. 22, through Sunday, Nov. 25. Scheduled track work will resume Sunday evening on the Red and Blue lines.
Service Information for Thanksgiving Day
On Friday, Nov. 23, Metrorail and Metrobus will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
Traveling to/from Washington Union Station (Amtrak, VRE, MARC and Intercity Bus services)
Union Station is served by Metrorail's Red Line.
Traveling to/from Reagan National Airport
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is served by Metrorail's Blue and Yellow lines.

Travelers have two options to reach Washington Dulles International Airport:
Traveling to/from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport
Travelers can reach the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport the airport by riding Metro’s Green Line to the Greenbelt Metrorail station and transferring to the B30 Metrobus, which provides direct service from the train station to the airport for $6. Metro will monitor ridership and place additional buses into service as needed. View timetable
